Als bekannt wurde, Thundermother spielt in Friedrichskoog, konnte ich es nicht glauben. Ich musste tatsächlich mehrmals hingucken. Trotzdem freute ich mich sehr, da es für mich ein Heimspiel ist. Brunsbüttel ist nur 20 Minuten Autofahrt von Friedrichskoog entfernt. Leider wurde das Konzert vom 27.11.2020 dann verschoben und fand am 14.11.2021 statt. Wir Admins durften schon zum Soundcheck kommen. Das ist natürlich für uns immer wieder aufregend, da man die Band quasi für sich hat. Es gibt dann auch immer mal wieder kleine Gespräche mit den Mädels.
When it was announced that Thundermother was playing in Friedrichskoog, I couldn’t believe it. I actually had to look several times. Nevertheless I was very happy, because it is a home game for me. Brunsbüttel is only 20 minutes drive from Friedrichskoog. Unfortunately, the concert of 27.11.2020 was then postponed and took place on 14.11.2021. We admins were already allowed to come to the soundcheck. This is of course always exciting for us, because you have the band quasi for yourself. There are then also always small conversations with the girls.
Das Konzert war der Hammer. Es waren ca. 200-300 Leute da, aber die Hütte brannte, wie man so schön sagt. Ich persönlich liebe ja so schöne kleine schnuggelige Konzerte.
The concert was awesome. There were about 200-300 people there, but the hut was on fire, as they say. I personally love such nice little cozy concerts.
Die Vorband Pay Pandora, die schon Vorband in Kiel am 15.08. war, hat ordentlich vorgeheizt. Die Band aus Heide mit Frontfrau Chiara, Gitarrist Thies, Bassist Marek und Drummer Tom-Ole gibt es schon seit 2014 und ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Sie sind total sympathisch und die Musik ist spitzenmäßig. Wer sie noch nicht kennt, sollte sie unbedingt kennenlernen.
The support band Pay Pandora, which was already support band in Kiel on 15.08., has heated up properly. The band from Heide with front woman Chiara, guitarist Thies, bassist Marek and drummer Tom-Ole has been around since 2014 and is an absolute insider tip. They are totally likeable and the music is top-notch. Who does not know them yet, should definitely get to know them.
Aus unserem Fanclub waren sogar unsere dänischen Freunde da. Wir treffen uns immer mal wieder auf Thundermother Konzerten und die Freude ist immer groß, sie zu sehen.
From our fan club even our Danish friends were there. We meet from time to time at Thundermother concerts and the joy is always great to see them.
Thundermother betritt die Bühne und sofort tobt der ganze Saal. Von Anfang bis Ende geben die Mädels alles. Spontan gehen Guernica, Filippa und Mona ins Publikum und feiern mit den Fans. Ich liebe ihre Spontanität und ich muss sagen, es ist unglaublich, wie geduldig sie mit jedem einzelnen Fan sind. Nach dem Konzert wurden Fotos gemacht, Autogramme gegeben, Fragen beantwortet… es war einfach schön.

Thundermother enters the stage and immediately the whole hall goes wild. From beginning to end the girls give everything. Spontaneously Guernica, Filippa and Mona go into the audience and celebrate with the fans. I love their spontaneity and I must say it’s incredible how patient they are with every single fan. After the concert, photos were taken, autographs were signed, questions were answered…. it was just beautiful.
