Es war wieder Zeit für einen Hangout für die Mitglieder von getnext. Das Hauptthema war natürlich die letzte Woche erschienene Single und das kommende Album.
Filippa erklärt zu dem Song „Watch Out“, dass das Riff von Van Halen und Eric Clapton inspiriert ist. Die Reaktionen auf die Single sind überwältigend, auf Youtube wurde das Video bereits über 170.000 mal angesehen. So schnell hat bisher noch kein Video diese Marke erreicht. Das Album soll im September erscheinen und bis dahin soll jeden Monat eine Single mit Video erscheinen. Die Single im Juni wird eine von zwei Balladen auf dem Album sein und trägt den Namen „Hot Mess“, das Video zu dieser Ballade hat Emlle gedreht. Es ist ein Stop-Motion Video. Das Album wird den Namen „Black & Gold“ bekommen. Die Band mag die Farben und sich aus diesem Grund zu dem Titel entschlossen. Das Album wird es auch als Bundle mit zusätzlichen Fanstuff geben.
In der anschließenden Fragerunde erklärt Guernica, dass die erste Single von ihrem Soloalbum für den September geplant ist.
Für den Rest des Jahres gibt es noch viele tolle Neuigkeiten, die im Laufe der nächsten Wochen veröffentlich werden.

Filippa explained about the song “Watch Out” that the riff is inspired by Van Halen and Eric Clapton. The reactions to the single have been overwhelming, on Youtube the video has already been viewed over 170,000 times. No video has ever reached this mark so quickly. The album is scheduled to be released in September and until then a sin-gle with video will be released every month. The single in June will be one of two ballads on the album and is called “Hot Mess”, the video for this ballad was shot by Emlle. It is a stop-motion video. The album will be called “Black & Gold”. The band likes the colors and for this reason decided on the title. The album will also be available as a bundle with additional fanstuff.
In the following Q&A session Guernica explains that the first single from her solo album is planned for September.
