Hey Thundermother-Fans,
wie geht’s Euch? Habt ihr eine geile Release-Woche?
Ich halte die neue Heat Wave Deluxe Edition in den Händen und kann nicht fassen, dass ich auf dem Cover meiner Lieblings Rockband bin!
Anfang 2020 habe ich Thundermother getroffen, als ich den Auftrag bekam, der Make-up Artist für die Band zu sein und mit Ihnen gemeinsam den Look für das kommende Album ‘Heat Wave’ zu entwickeln. Um den Job vorzubereiten, bin ich vollkommen in die Thundermother-Welt eingetaucht, habe jedes Album in Dauerschleife gehört und bin süchtig nach dem Sound geworden.
So hat ein super aufregendes Jahr mit Thundermother begonnen. Wir haben krasse Produktionen erlebt, wie z.B. das ultra heiße Fotoshooting mit Franz Schepers und PYROTechniK und die Videodrehs zu ‘Dog from Hell’ und ‘Driving in Style’.
Am Set hab ich geschminkt, gebürstet, vor der Kamera getanzt, mein T-Shirt in die Menge geworfen, Making of Clips gefilmt und dort habe ich auch viele von Euch getroffen und Kennen gelernt. Ein Tag mit Thundermother ist wie eine Zeitreise mitten ins Herz des Rock’n’Roll!
Auf der Bühne hab ich Guernica, Filippa, Emlee und Majsan das erste Mal in der Pumpe in Kiel gesehen. Sie haben dort ein mega Konzert mit Rose Tattoo gespielt, ich habe Filippas Pick gefangen und Fabian Lippke hat dieses tolle Foto geschossen, wo die Girls mich küssen und ich dahin schmelze. Was für ein Abend…
Mein liebstes Highlight war definitiv der Videoreh zu ‘Into the Mud’. An dem Tag sind wir Alle als Fan-Familie so richtig eng zusammen gewachsen. Das war Beauty treatment deluxe!
Die elektrisierende Musik von Thundermother löst viel in mir aus. Sie drückt diese enorme Stärke aus. Wenn ich Filippas Gitarrenriffs höre, dann bin ich mutig und nichts steht mehr im Weg und in einer problem-gefüllten Zeit, ist das der beste Weg, um Motivation zu entwickeln.
Als Ende 2020 der Anruf vom TM-Management kam und sie sagten, dass sie einen Fan für das neue Album-Cover suchen, bin ich vor Freude ausgeflippt. Die Vision: Das ultimative Thundermother Universum, ein Zimmer voller Musik, Poster & Merch und ich darf mein Groupielife voll ausleben.
Mit der ‘Heat Wave Deluxe Edition’ wird ein großer Traum wahr. Ich fühl mich genauso ‘Almost Famous’ wie William und Penny Lane in dem Film. Das Album ist
der Hammer
und ich höre es seit dem Release ohne Pause. Meine Lieblings Songs sind ‘Free Ourselves’ und der ‘Banjo Dog from Hell’ und endlich ist ‘RocknRoll Heaven’ als Track veröffentlicht, Juhu!
Vielen Dank an die Band, das Team und an alle Thundermother-Fans für die geilen Abenteuer die wir erleben! Ich hoffe wir sehen uns bald auf einem Konzert wieder und können gemeinsam das Album so feiern wie es sich für Thundermother gehört!

Hey Thundermother fans,
how are you? Do you have a great release week?
I’m holding the new Heat Wave Deluxe Edition in my hands and can’t believe I’m on the cover of my favorite rock band!
At the beginning of 2020 I met Thundermother when I got the assignment to be the make-up artist for the band and to develop the look for the upcoming album ‘Heat Wave’ together with them. To prepare for the job, I immersed myself completely in the Thundermother world, listened constantly to all albums and got addicted to the sound.
A super exciting year with Thundermother started. We have experienced extraordinary productions, such as the ultra hot photo shoot with Franz Schepers and PYROTechniK and the video shoots for ‘Dog from Hell’ and ‘Driving in Style’. On set I did make-up, brushed, danced in front of the camera, threw my T-shirt into the crowd, filmed making of clips and met and got to know many of you. A day with Thundermother is like traveling back in time right into the heart of rock and roll!
On stage I saw Guernica, Filippa, Emlee and Majsan for the first time in the “Pumpe” in Kiel. They played a mega concert there with Rose Tattoo, I caught Filippa’s pick and Fabian Lippke took this great photo where the girls kiss me and I melt away. What an evening…
My favorite highlight was definitely the video shoot of ‘Into the Mud’. On that day, we all grew really close together as a fan family. That was beauty treatment deluxe.
Thundermother’s electrifying music triggers a lot in me. It expresses an enormous strength. When I hear Filippa’s guitar riffs, then I’m brave and nothing stands in the way. In problem-filled times, it’s the best way to motivate oneself.
When the call came from TM management at the end of 2020 and they said they were looking for a fan for the new album cover, I freaked out with joy. The vision: The ultimate Thundermother universe, a room full of music, posters & merch and I can live my groupie life to the fullest.
With the ‘Heat Wave Deluxe Edition’ a big dream came true. I feel as ‘Almost Famous’ as William and Penny Lane did in the movie. The album is awesome and I’ve been listening to it without a break since it was released. My favorite songs are ‘Free Ourselves’ and the ‘Banjo Dog from Hell’ and finally ‘RocknRoll Heaven’ is out as a track, yeah!
