Das LA Live Style Cafe war ausverkauft und voll. Sehr voll. Es begann mit einer Show mit Support Cobra Spell, die mehr oder weniger genau eine Stunde dauerte. Die Menge wurde immer lauter, glücklicherweise nicht so laut wie Kobra Spell, aber laut genug. Eine wirklich schöne Ouvertüre.
Um 20:30 Uhr kamen sie ins Blickfeld. Thundermother. Sie gehen nicht einfach auf die Bühne, oh nein, sie erscheinen! Mit dem bekannten Intro und „Can You Feel It” begann die Show, ja, jeder konnte es fühlen – Thundermother Rock’n’Roll, meiner Meinung nach einzigartig und unschlagbar. Der Sound war großartig, sie spielten eine gute Mischung aus Klassikern und neuen Songs aus dem aktuellen Album. Wenn man Thundermother live hört, spürt man, dass sie lieben, was sie tun, und dass sie es gut machen. Nein, sie machen es perfekt! Linneas Stimme ist unvergesslich, Majsans Basss- und Filippas Gitarrensound unglaublich und Joans Schlagzeugspiel unbeschreiblich.
Bei jedem Konzert, das ich besucht habe, dachte ich mir hinterher: „Besser geht es nicht mehr“, und bei jedem nächsten Konzert haben sie das Letzte definitiv noch übertroffen. Unglaublich! Wie so ofthätte das Konzert meiner Meinung nach statt 1,5 Stunden auch 15 Stunden dauern können aber so ist das Leben und ich hatte eine großartige Zeit mit Thundermother.
Der einzige negative Eindruck war, dass die Nebelmaschine zu hoch eingestellt war, sodass Joan von Zeit zu Zeit im Nebel verschwunden war.
Besonderer Dank geht an C.C., der mir den Platz in der ersten Reihe gesichert hat – nur eine Armlänge von Thundermother entfernt.

The LA Live Style Cafe was sold out and packed. Very packed. It started with a show by support act Cobra Spell, which lasted more or less exactly one hour. Crowd got louder and louder, fortunately not as loud as Kobra Spell, but loud enough. A really nice overture.
At 8:30 p.m., they came into view. Thundermother. They don’t just walk onto the stage, oh no, they appear!
The show began with the familiar intro and “Can You Feel It,” and yes, everyone could feel it—Thundermother Rock ‘n’ Roll, in my opinion, unique and unbeatable.
The sound was great, they played a good mix of classics and new songs from the current album.
When you hear Thundermother live, you can feel that they love what they do and that they do it well. No, they do it perfectly! Linnea’s voice is unforgettable, Majsan’s bass playing and Filippa’s guitar sound are incredible, and Joan’s drumming is indescribable.
After every concert I’ve been to, I’ve thought to myself, “It can’t get any better than this and at every subsequent concert, they’ve definitely topped the last one. Unbelievable!
As usual in my opinion, the concert could have lasted 15 hours instead of 1.5 hours, but that’s life, and I had a great time with Thundermother.
The only negative impression was that the fog machine was set too high, so that Joan was occasionally lost in the fog.
